Another way to remove dust is to use a vacuum. The general advice is to use only one battery operated vacuum, because as one AC powered vacuum caused static and static to ruin the motherboard. I have use one AC powered vacuum (before they were aware that it is not advisable) to clean my motherboard many times and he never caused any problems, but may have been just luck. Using the vacuum, keep the jet in several inches of motherboard and other components, so as not come into contact with them and so that all the small parts that are not smuchat in vacuum.

If you can not have by compressed air or vacuum, you can use a dry cloth and brush to clean the motherboard. Be careful not to break something, dislodge or use of this method.

While cleaning the motherboard, careful to exclude all cables and connections, or in bulk dislodge all the components, such as jumpers.

Methodically clean the whole inside of the case happened over all of the motherboard from one end to another, and all other components. Be sure to clean the fans and heat sinks.
